Jeff Farrington
Fighting to create jobs for every Michigander
Like us to spread the word
Jeff Farrington is leading the charge to cut red tape to empower job makers and kick start hiring across the state. Because of his policies, Michigan is on the comeback trail, adding nearly 300,000 private sector jobs in the last 4 years.
Standing with Governor Snyder, Farrington’s policies have already accomplished so much:
Nearly 300,000 Jobs Created for Michiganders
– As jobs are created, unemployment rates have decreased to their lowest point since 2008. Now, on any given workday, nearly 300,000 more people will wake up, go to work, and provide for their families. (DTMB, Labor Market Information)
Increased Education Funding by $1 Billion
– Michigan’s next generation needs to have a solid foundation, which is why over the last three years education funding has increased by $1 Billion dollars. (School Aid Fund Appropriation History. Lansing: Senate Fiscal Agency, 8 July 2014. PDF.)
Cutting Taxes
– The repeal of the onerous Michigan Business Tax improved our state’s ability to attract and retain job makers and businesses. The state also reduced its personal income tax rate, allowing every Michigander to have more control over how their hard earned money is spent. (PA 38 and 39 of 2011, PA 198 and 328 of 2012)
Investing in Michigan’s Children
– Last year, Michigan led the nation, investing $65 million in early childhood education allowing more than 16,000 four-year olds to go to pre-school. (Michigan Had Largest Preschool Funding Increase in Nation in 2013." MLive.com. MLive, 13 Jan. 2014. Web. 19 Sept. 2014.)
