Michigan Freedom Fund Recognizes

Ron Armstrong as October

“Freedom Fighter of the Month”

LANSING, MI, October 13, 2020 – The Michigan Freedom Fund has named Ron Armstrong, co-founder and board member of Stand Up Michigan, as the October “Freedom Fighter of the Month.”

“Stand Up Michigan was founded at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic with the mission of protecting the rights and liberties outlined in our state Constitution,” said Executive Director Tony Daunt. “As co-founder of the organization, Ron Armstrong was instrumental in recruiting and organizing tens of thousands of volunteers across Michigan, ultimately submitting more than 539,000 signatures to the Secretary of State in a citizen-initiated repeal of the state’s 1945 emergency law.”

Said Armstrong: “I am honored to accept this award on behalf of the many Stand Up Michigan members and activists across the state who are protecting our freedoms. This is their award.”

The “Freedom Fighter of the Month” is an award created by the Freedom Fund to recognize those individuals who are diligently working to defend taxpayers and protect our Constitutional freedoms.

“Ron Armstrong has been at the forefront in the battle to promote liberty,” Daunt continued. “It is our privilege to recognize Ron and Stand Up Michigan for their efforts to restore the Rule of Law.”
