Michigan Freedom Fund: Get Your Damn Facts Straight
LANSING, MI, April 13, 2020 –Michigan Freedom Fund Executive Director Tony Daunt responded to Governor Whitmer’s bizarre – and categorically false – claim that the organization is ‘funding’ another group’s grassroots protest in Lansing this Wednesday:
“Governor Whitmer accused us of ‘funding’ a protest Wednesday being organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition and a huge organic Facebook community. The truth of the matter is that the Michigan Freedom Fund has never contributed to the Michigan Conservative Coalition and if Governor Whitmer spent more time focusing on this crisis and getting her damn facts straight, and less time playing politics and auditioning to be Joe Biden’s Vice-President, she wouldn’t have to resort to making wild accusations like this to distract from her confusing and arbitrary orders.”
