Freedom Fund Releases Whitmer’s “Rules for Thee, but Not for Me” Playbook

From Boats to Planes to Bars, Playbook Highlights 20 Brazen Acts of Hypocrisy from Governor Gretchen Whitmer

MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. – The Michigan Freedom Fund today released a new full-color print edition playbook highlighting twenty of Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s brazen acts of hypocrisy. The Hypocrite Governor’s “Rules for Thee, but Not for Me” Playbook gives voters a blow-by-blow explainer detailing Whitmer’s unscientific, job-killing performance as Governor and her refusal to follow her own rules.

“The secret to Gretchen Whitmer’s playbook is simple – assume that if the Governor is demanding you do it, the odds are she’s refusing to do it herself,” said Tori Sachs, executive director of the Michigan Freedom Fund. “From boats and planes to dive bars and secret trips, Whitmer and those around her made one set of rules for the people of Michigan and another for themselves. Whitmer’s draconian shutdowns destroyed lives and livelihoods and now with Michigan at the bottom in the country for recovery, she is hoping everyone will forget that the devastation is a result of her orders.”

The Playbook, available digitally at the link above, features 20 examples of Whitmer’s hypocrisy, lies, and deceptions, each with extensive coverage from the state and national media, including:
  • Boat in the Water
  • Science Misdirection
  • The Landshark
  • Delay of Game
  • Go Deep (South)
  • Rush the Field
  • Economic Fumblerooski
  • Reading Progress Block
  • Classroom Prevent and many more.

Print editions of the Playbook are also available.
